Lily of the Valley
Jesus is the Lily of the Valley.
This Lily plant was planted by seed by my father-in-law who is passed away. When it was ready to be planted outside my husband brought it home and planted it in my flower bed. This is that plant one morning after a sofy rain.

Penny for your thoughts
If you decide to follow my photo blogs yes they will almost always make reference to God. I choose to use this as one more method of sharing my faith and hoping some will be blessed and inspired.
At the very least, my family and grandchildren have this from me.

Monkey see
I first went to India, alone in 2000. I returned again in 2007 and most recently January 25-March 2 2010.
I love the work of the Gospel. I love people, music, nature and I love photography. This was a fun memory for me. It was my last week there and I was asked to join a group of seniors on a field trip to a park and speak a little and sing a little. I play 12 string guitar and always have it with me when I travel.
I chose Jeremiah 29:11-13 for inpiration. We all have our own plans of our future, what we think we will do; what we will become, our hopes and dreams of what our life will be like. But God has a plan for our future too. "For I know the plans that I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not for calamity; to give you a future and a hope. And you shall call on me, and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. And you shall seek me, and I shall be found by you when you search for me with all your heart." I talked about God's plan for their future and it is good.
Then I sang a song I'd written in Telugu and we all sang "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands." There's such a joy in music and singing together that makes people bond. Music is a universal language. I feel the same way about photography. Afterwards when they broke for lunch I grabbed a snack and my camera and off I went! There were wild monkeys everywhere and I happen to adore monkeys. I saw this youngster pick up a plastic glass. I pointed my camera and just then he stuck his full head in the glass and looked out through it! I thought it was adorable and so I will share this photo and short story with you and begin keeping something my grandchildren can follow. I have hundreds of pictures and stories I will be blogging on. This is my first try at it and I think I'm going to enjoy it.
